Become A Buyer

Interested in becoming a buyer at the 2025 Fort Bend County Fair Livestock or Art Auctions? Whether it be a market animal, or breeding beef heifer, exhibitors spend months preparing their projects. When supporting a livestock exhibitor, you are helping a young person in Fort Bend County remain in agriculture and you are helping keep farms a part of our community. Purchasing a project from an exhibitor at an auction invests in that child's future and gives them the means to continue to pursue their passion in agriculture.

If your interest is more in the art field, we have that for you as well. Local art students prepare exquisite master pieces any collector or novias would be pleased to display in their gallery, office or home.

NEW INFORMATION FOR 2025

  • Buyer Incentives: based on your level of spending at the 2025 auctions, you may be eligible for some buyer benefits for the 2026 fair! Please see the attached document for further details.
  • Add-Ons: add-ons can now be entered online. There will be a 3% credit card fee. We will still provide the option in 2025 to submit the add-on form with payment at the auction check-out table or to the fair office.
  • Additional wristbands: Each additional wristband needed in excess of those distributed as stated below under auction entry, will cost $25 each. Each wristband will get entry to the auction and a meal ticket.

Add On Form

SAME INFORMATION AS 2024

  • Registration Fee – there will still be a $250 registration fee for buyers. Like last year, this fee will either (1) get credited back to you if a purchase is made at an auction, (2) get credited back to you for add-ons to exhibitors, or (3) get credited to the exhibitor sale fee. This fee will not be retained by the fair. The registration fee can be paid during the pre-registration process, paid at time of check-in for the sale, or you can elect to pay it after all auction/sales are complete by providing credit card information at registration time that would be charged only if total auction purchases and add-ons are less than $250.
  • Auction Entry – each buyer who registers will receive two wristbands and two tickets for the meal and each buyer group will receive four wristbands and four tickets for the meal. If you have additional individuals who wish to be a part of the auction, each additional wristband will cost $25 each. Each additional wristband will entitle them to enter the auction area and one meal ticket.
  • Payment Methods – payment methods accepted will be cash, checks and credit cards. Credit card payments will receive an additional 3% credit card fee.
  • Timing of Paymentall auction items purchased must be paid for at the end of each auction. If you are a business and need to process a check for payment, all payments must be received in the fair office no later than October 24, 2025.
  • Online Auction – Cattle in Motion will be broadcasting all auctions for those who wish to view and/or purchase lots on-line. www.cattleinmotion.com
