Old 300 Horse Show "Riding with no Limits"

Date: Sept 29, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location(s):

The Old 300 Horse Show at the Fort Bend County Fair is an event dedicated to Equestrians with Disabilities (EWD), or as we like to phrase it, Equestrians with Different Abilities. Each year, we invite local Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International Accredited Riding Centers to compete in a variety of Western and English classes, including Equitation, Showmanship, and Trail.

This show is made possible by the dedication of Fort Bend County residents who volunteer their time and talents to create a supportive and inclusive competition for all participants. Their passion and commitment help ensure a memorable and successful event year after year.

The Old 300 Horse Show is all about the celebration of determination, skill, and the incredible bond between horse and rider.

The show’s name, Old 300, honors the first settlers of Fort Bend County, known as "The Old 300." These early pioneers were part of Stephen F. Austin’s original colony in Texas, laying the foundation for the strong, community-driven spirit that still defines our county today.
